an anti-oil license plate?
fortunately, this Tesla pilot appears to only dislike foreign oil, the local stuff is still good.

No, it’s supposed to be “Hate for no Illinois”
They just are tired of people making fun of Illinois.

Either that or something related to electricity.

They had to lift that requirement in California, since all the anti-oil plates were taken in the first few months electrics were available.

Sooo apparently this person doesn’t quite understand the fungibility of oil and that every piece of plastic in their “ERHS8VR” required oil to produce.
TL;DR: This person is a moronic douchebag who loves to sniff his/her own farts.

Haha. Nor does he understand that all of that fancy electricity hes using to charge that car with is produced mostly by coal in Colorado. Which we all know is really clean.
Also talks with his/her eyes closed.

Not in Illinois!
Well, you can get one in IL if you’d like to forfeit the savings on your annual registration...
Normal registration: $101 every year
Vanity plate registration: $195 every year
EV registration: $35 every two years ( or less! )
In short, you’re costing yourself at least $160 per year if you opt to get a vanity plate instead of an EV plate. Good for you!

Not if they’re using solar panels to get the electricity.
But, if certain countries didn't make an ass load of money off oil, they might find it a lot harder to fund terrorism.

About that...
http://www.ucsusa.org/clean-vehicles…
Over their lifetime, battery electric vehicles produce far less global warming pollution than their gasoline counterparts—and they’re getting cleaner.
